This is our sixth Summer Festival bringing professional artists, musicians and theatre to complement the talent in our midst. We look forward to meeting you at some of our events. We welcome comments and suggestions to help us make the festival programme exciting and innovative.

The 2009 Festival will once again include the popular photographic exhibition (open to any amateur photographers of any age) and the "Walking Art Gallery" featuring work by local schools in shop and office windows throughout the town), concerts, literary evening, and Bill Flemming's wonderful pen and ink workshop. RoughCast Theatre return with Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" and the Sally Voakes Quartet will delight jazz fans. New ventures include a talk by John Sheeran about some of his favourite East Anglian landscape paintings, a Murder Mystery Evening when amateur sleuths will be invited to solve the crime whilst enjoying a ploughman's supper and an opportunity for amateur film makers to present their work at Fram on Film - Past and Present. An Open Studio weekend offers a unique chance to view work by local artist Judith Lockie and guest exhibitor Bridget Heriz. The highlight of the festival will be a performance by Julian Lloyd Webber accompanied by Pam Chowhan at the Headmaster Porter Theatre at Framlingham College.
